The Executive Portrait

Well, I was asked to shoot some portraits of the executives where I currently work. Somehow, I think this is one of the hardest things to do. Unless it is an environmental portrait, you have a face, background and light to work with. Here are a couple shots, of Kevin Pomplun, Ceo and Walter Johnson, both of Skygrid.

Everyday Photos

Well, lately when I carry my camera around, I've been trying to use up some
tungsten slide film, which I had cross processed. The first of these is from an overpass overlooking a construction site near my studio. I love the tones. It feels mysterious, a little spooky. I've also been sticking a ND filter along with a soft focus filter on the lens. The next one is from a little excursion near Half Moon bay. Perhaps I should capture suburban homes on my way to work, in a similar fashion.
